They'll come do yardwork with me...they'll help my wife with housework. They'll offer to babysit for free so you can have a night out, and then hang out afterward. They'll volunteer at the office...I could go on :). Basically, if you show some interest, many students are more than willing to go out of their way to spend time with an adult who will shepherd and challenge them.
